MO. (KCTV/Gray News) – Kansas City According to Missouri authorities, a 16-year-old driver crashed a stolen Kia Soul carrying eight people, killing three and badly injuring seven more. The two-car collision that occurred on Tuesday night near E. 35th Street and Norton Avenue is being looked into by the Kansas City Police Department. According to the police, it all began when the blue Kia Soul was pulled up for a moving violation. The Kia raced off as the officer got out of his car. Although the license plates on the Kia turned up as a stolen vehicle, the police said the officer did not pursue the vehicle. The Kia approached a white Chevrolet Tahoe that was traveling in the same direction as it was leaving the traffic stop.
