Sexy is an individual trait, and it is perceived differently.  It means sexually attractive and exciting.  What one person believes is sexy may not be to another person.  For example, I find tattoos sexy (like Adam Levine) and some people don’t.  But a man doesn’t have to have them for me to feel he is sexy.  Take Hugh Jackman – an incredibly sexy man.  Part of the attraction there (okay, aside from the killer body) is his smile is always playful and he seems like a really nice guy.  And it doesn’t hurt that he plays a superhero in the movies!  A big part of sexy is that he comes across as confident and comfortable in his own skin.  This can often cause us to feel that someone we might not normally be attracted to is sexy.  An example here is Justin Timberlake – I have never found him to be physically attractive, but I think he is sexy because he is confident enough to laugh at himself.

Are you sexy?  I’m sure you are to some people, and maybe many.  It doesn’t matter how old you are, if you’ve had kids, if you’re single or attached.  It comes down to how you show up around others.  Do you flow or saunter into a room?  Do you stand tall?  Are you comfortable in your skin?  How you show up depends on how you feel about yourself.  You can do things to make you feel sexy.  If you feel sexy, this translates into how you act, and others will feel it too!

How can you feel sexy?  Wear clothes that make you feel sexy – down to the underwear.  Ladies – wear a bra that makes your bust look good!  Guys – wear underwear that make you feel powerful!  Style your hair and consider something (even slightly) different than normal like putting your hair up to show off your neck or using gel when you normally don’t.  Using lotion, aftershave or perfume often makes you sexy because you may enjoy the process of putting it on, and others will catch your scent.  Everyone has beautiful characteristics, so whatever you put on make sure it accentuates your positives!  And be playful – others respond to flirting and silliness as long as it is authentic.

Do and wear the things that make you feel good about yourself and others will respond.  You are sexy – believe it!  If you need some tips on this, contact us – we can help you bring your sexy back!
